**Hot-dip Galvanizing (Hot-coated Zinc)**

Process: Pickled steel pipes are immersed in molten zinc at approximately 450°C, causing a series of reactions on the steel pipe surface to form a zinc-iron alloy layer. Appearance: The coating is thicker, the surface is not as smooth as electroplated zinc, and zinc flowers (crystallization patterns) may be present. The color is darker, silver-gray, and the feel is slightly rough.

Performance: Extremely strong rust resistance. The coating is thick and metallurgically bonded to the base steel, resulting in strong adhesion and resistance to peeling. Even with minor scratches, zinc can continue to protect the iron from corrosion through the "sacrificial anode" effect.

Price Impact: The cost is much higher than electroplated zinc. The process is complex, energy-intensive, and consumes a large amount of zinc. It is commonly used in outdoor furniture, heavy-duty shelving, and industrial furniture where durability is a high priority.
