We select compact natural hardwood as raw material, picking regular timber free of hollow cores, moth damage and mildew. The wood boasts balanced density with a perfect combination of hardness and toughness, resisting breakage and cracking effectively. It avoids the common defects of low-quality soft wood dowels that easily crumble under force and slip out of joints. The raw lumber undergoes constant-temperature drying to precisely control moisture content. Able to adapt to indoor temperature and humidity changes across four seasons, the dowels will not swell from moisture or shrink when dry during long-term use, fundamentally preventing widened gaps and loose joints on furniture and greatly extending its service life.
The surrounding spiral flutes are the core highlight of the product. The integrated turned concave-convex texture multiplies friction compared with smooth straight dowels. When assembled with wood glue, the grooves can fully hold the adhesive and form a multi-layer interlocking locking structure. It delivers tight and stable joints for flat panel joining, right-angle connection and vertical-horizontal splicing without extra hardware reinforcement, maintaining strong connecting force even after repeated disassembly and assembly. Both ends are finely polished with rounded passivation, leaving no burrs or sharp edges all over. They slide smoothly into dowel holes without scratching the inner wall of panels or causing edge chipping, fully protecting the appearance of veneer and solid wood boards.
